Our Watch Repair Process
At EM Watch Service we understand how valuable your watch is to you. That is why we have a clear and detailed repair process, so you know exactly what to expect.
Step 1: Receiving information from you and your watch
There are several ways to get in touch, and EM Watch Service will do its utmost to gather the necessary information to advise on the next step.
Step 2: Making an appointment to drop off your watch.
Accepting your watch is only possible by appointment. Once the appointment is confirmed, you will receive a link via email or WhatsApp. Via this link you fill in some data that are necessary for the registration of the watch. Without this data, the watch cannot be accepted.
An automatic message will then follow with the address where the watch can be dropped off or sent to.
Step 3: Inspection & Quotation
Once the watch is received, a thorough inspection is performed to assess its condition and any issues. Based on this, a quote is drawn up. The results, any special features/additional agreements and the associated quote will be shared with you.
We charge a fee of 25 euros for the inspection of a watch, which will be waived if service or repair is purchased.
After your approval, the watch will be scheduled for repair. If there is no approval, an appointment will be made to pick up the watch unprepared and the inspection costs will be charged.
Step 4: Repair & Quality Control
Your watch will undergo careful repair and/or maintenance, using only high quality parts when parts are needed.
After the repair is completed, your watch will be thoroughly tested to ensure everything is functioning as it should, so you can wear it with confidence again.
Step 5: Return your watch
As soon as your watch is ready, you will receive a message and the invoice for our services in your mailbox.
Picking up your watch is only possible by appointment
and the invoice must be paid before the watch is collected or returned. Returns are not possible without payment.
Step 6: Aftercare
After the repair you will receive advice on the maintenance of your watch, so that you can enjoy it for years to come. Your satisfaction and pleasant total experience is our priority.

How long does the watch repair process take?
The duration of the repair process depends on what needs to be done and the type of watch. In most cases, simple repairs, such as replacing a battery or standard glass, can be done within a few days. For more complex repairs, it can take weeks and sometimes months. We will always keep you informed of the progress.
What can I expect during the repair process?
When you bring your watch to us, we will first perform a thorough inspection to determine the necessary repairs. You will then receive a detailed quote. Only after your approval will we start the repair. You will receive updates on the status of your watch, so you will know exactly when it is ready.
Are there any guarantees on the repairs?
Yes, at EM Watch Service we offer guarantees on our repairs. Depending on the work carried out, you can count on a guarantee of 6 months to 1 year. This gives you the peace of mind that your watch is in good hands. However, there are also exceptions, these are always made known to you in advance. Click here for more information
Can I also send my watch in for repair?
Yes, you can also send your watch for repair. Make sure that the watch is well packed and that we have an appointment. The watch must of course be registered. However, sending your watch is entirely at your own risk. Returns are sent as safely and insured as possible, but the risk of this is also for you as a customer.
Drop off and pick up is preferred.
Why are replica watches not accepted?
Replica watches fall under the category of counterfeit and pirated products and constitute an infringement of intellectual property rights. This concerns an imitation or reproduction of features of a brand or product that are used without permission. We cannot and do not want to cooperate in maintaining this.

Your precious watch is treated with care, using professional equipment and tools. My expertise and collaboration make many things possible.
If necessary, I sometimes refer to specialized professionals, for example for applying a new layer of gold, repairs to the dial, specific watch brands or movements. Of course, this is always done in consultation with you.
It is important to know that I do not repair clocks or replica/noob watches.
In addition, I may reject watches with low-quality parts for repair, as I cannot vouch for the quality of my work with such materials. These watches are not eligible for repair or service.
